1. could we specify the config using code, without app.config file?

2. is the prowl service free?

  1. Yes.  ProwlClient has an overloaded constructor that accepts a ProwlClientConfiguration object.  Simply create a new configuration object, populate it with the appropriate information, then use it to create the ProwlClient.  If the other (default) constructor is used, the ProwlClient class assumes that the configuration is being provided via the configuration file and throws an exception if it isn't.

Any chance of posting an example of how to use a ProwlClientConfiguration object to setup the ProwlClient?  I don't have any experience with using configuration objects.

There aren't really any special steps to setting up the configuration object.  Simply create the object (new it up like any other object), set the appropriate properties then supply it to the ProwlClient constructor.  Even though it's a configuration object, there are no special steps that you need to take.
